About Swallow Tail Creations

An art shop focused on the creations of Sarah Voiles, an independent artist located in the Appalachian Foothills. All pieces are handmade and mirrors the style of all things weird, wild, witchy, and wonderful.

Swallow Tail Creations draws its name from the butterfly and the ouroboros, an ancient symbol depicting a serpent eating its own tail, symbolizing rebirth of life and the continuity of creativity. This represents STC's commitment to perpetual evolution and artistic innovation.

At Swallow Tail Creations, our main focus is on block print and handmade jewelry. Block printing is a traditional technique where original designs are carved into linoblock, covered in ink, and pressed onto surfaces to create intricate pieces of art. The jewelry features natural stones hand wrapped to highlight each piece's natural beauty and elegance.

Behind the scenes of STC is Sarah Voiles, an independent artist located in the Appalachian foothills. She studied art at the University of North Georgia, and after years of working in the restaurant business left to work on her art full time. Her pieces focus on her love of nature, whimsy, and the subconscious. If you love the weird, wild, witchy, and whimsical aspects of life, her art might be the right fit for you.
