About Swallow Tail

Swallow Tail Creations was created and solely ran by Sarah, an Appalachian folk artist in the North Georgia Mountains. After getting an art degree from the University of North Georgia and spending a few years in the restaurant business, Sarah found the universe yelling at her that it was time to follow the art path for real. Now she works full time as an artist, making beautiful creations that are waiting to find the perfect home!

The name Swallow Tail is inspired by the symbol for persisting and renewing of life, the ouroboros. Within the ouroboros is a swallowtail butterfly, another symbol for the cycles of life and transformation. The art created through Swallow Tail Creations is aimed to help renew the inner spirit within everyone who owns it, so the ouroboros and swallowtail are the perfect symbols to encompass that mission.

Life is messy. It is chaotic, random, but persisting. Art is one of humanity's strongest ways of preserving the beauty of a universe that is constantly changing.
